Description
The SHIKARI 145 is a long-casting, shallow diving, slow floating jerkbait with a tungsten weight transfer system. The internal weight slides backward into the tail when casting to maximize distance, and then rolls forward when being retrieved to balance the lure and keep it perfectly level.
The Shikari can be twitched hard on the retrieve to produce an erratic action where the lure will turn 180° triggering violent strikes from inshore gamefish. It can also be trolled with a significant body roll, and when retrieved will produce a nose to tail whole body wiggle, making it highly appealing to all predators.
The Shikari 145 is a Striped Bass casting weapon, whether from the boat or from shore, this bait is designed to cast a long way and catch fish.
Every Nomad Design lure has been crafted by decades of experience on the water to be tougher, last longer and to catch more fish.

GORILLA THROUGH WIRE
This through wire system has the wire bend around a set of extra plastic supports internally, making the wire less likely to separate from the lure body, and ensuring ultimate strength. The through wire is also welded at both ends to ensure you never lose that big fish.
HD ABS SYSTEM
Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white colour, and is ultimately stronger than other plastics used for lure production. These lures also feature a thicker wall construction, meaning ultimate strength and durability.
TRIPLE SHIELD PROTECTION
We ensure that the painting process and the quality of the finish on all lures is protected and likely to last longer by applying 3 final coats of a super tough clear resin to the outside of all lures. It provides additional colour depth and ensures that the finish on your lure will last longer.
TUNGSTEN WEIGHT
An internal moving tungsten weight system that creates extra casting distance by allowing the ball to move back towards the tail when casting, but then has the ball move back to sit in the belly during the retrieve to create a balanced body that floats or suspends level.
