Purchased this to replace tube that had broken. Wall is thicker than original by .060. Threads were cut very clean in the shaft and fit well into the motor housing, not to tight and not loose. Tube fit into socket on bottom of trolling motor head is snug. Finish is good. Very satisfied with quality of product, the low price and how quickly it was shipped.

Minn Kota 36" composite shaft
I installed this shaft today. I must say that is of better quality than the original.By that I mean It has a thicker wall than the original and also a bit heavier.The hole for the wire is smaller because of the thickness but not a problem fish the wires through.The original lasted many years but this one may outlast me! Best price i could find anywhere! Thanks.
