It’s an OEM and worked as advertised. It did take some minor modifications on the existing motor cover to make it work

Works like a charm!
Old power cable had turned brittle and fell apart...this cable assembly solved the problem. Fish307 video made installation easy. Used Permatex 82180 Black in the reassembly of the downrigger.

Great kit and easy to install
I have two of the old school Canon Mag 10 Marlins from 2003. This kit worked perfect to replace the old brittle cords. I’m not mechanically inclined, but the step by step video by “Downrigger Mike” made the install extremely simple. Thanks Mike!

Replacement cables for Cannon downriggers
I have replaced the electric cables on each of 5 Cannon Mag10A downriggers which I have had for ages. Each of the older original cables eventually cracked on the outer insulation over the years. These new cables are of very good quality, much heavier duty than the originals. I have had two ssets on for about 5 years and they are still like brand new. I recently replaced the others. Yes they are a bit pricey but I would add "worth it" Just make sure the connection contacts to the rigger are correct and you're good to go.

Nice kit
Just finished installing and testing. All is well. The fitting through the housing is a tough one but with the help on a YouTube video I figured it out. It all looks heavy duty.
