Quick Fix
This is just as described, and provides a quick solution for a free-spinning swivel mount. Keep extra on your boat in case you get hung up and pop a pin. These are easily repaired on the water. Perhaps a little more protection in the packaging to keep the threads from getting dinged up would move it to a 5 star rating.

These pins break really easy bad design by cannon so I ordered 3 of them last time thankfully I can buy just the pin and not a new swivel base Reply from FISH307 The pin is designed to break if there is too much pressure on the base. It is a shear pin, it is the built in weak spot . If you continually break it something is wrong and needs to be addressed.

This is the the perfect fit replacement part for the cannon swivel base I needed. This product was shipped from or around Lake George, NY. I cannot understand why this package sat in a USPS facility in Springfield, MA for six days. It appears I missed four or five fishing days.
