  Exact replacement. This is the second time I have replaced a handle on my downrigger. I discovered that I could repair the handle if I trimmed the rubber off the end so that I could access the locking washer.

  The metal insert for the threads is soft and can strip easily this will ruin your day. Fits perfect and be back in the water in a few minutes.

  It was simple to turn the old handle off and screw the new handle on.
