I only use inline reels for ice fishing and I have three of these. Nice well built dependable reel but I have one complaint. I jig with one and dead stick with the other. The only way I’ve found to lock in the reel while dead sticking is to crank up the drag all the way and put on the clicker. For the money, I thing when you let you line down to where you want it and retrieve a little back, the reel should lock in and the drag should take over. I think a real design flaw.
